Was really surprised how loose fitting these were

Was really surprised how loose fitting these were. I wear a medium sock. These would not be great for hiking as a would imagine they would create a hot spot on my foot. I wear a size 8 shoe. Maybe 8.5 in a hiking boot

Comfy and warm but stretches out quickly

Comfy and warm but stretches out quickly. After two days of low intensity wear (dog walks, around the house), they've bagged out. So, I won't take them when I can't change socks frequently. I.e., they're a "no" for backpacking, multi-day hunts, etc.

Too much of a good thing

I moved from Phoenix, AZ to the Driftless Region and I've been buying every Merino piece of clothing I come across. I thought these would be thinner socks given the midweight rating. They are really quite thick and aren't a good match with my light Merrel boots nor my ultra-burly LL Bean hikers. I have narrow feet and ordinarily, a sock with some volume is helpful, but these have too much volume and give me an uncomfortably tight fit. I wouldn't even try to wear these with my road or trail runners. Naturally, if you need a thicker sock than I do, these are for you.

Using later this winter

Look to be of the quality i expect from Minus 33. I originally ordered the only near pink color for my wife and figured a few pairs for me for colder months would be ok. I did notice these particular socks are made in Romania? Or some place other than the United States? If it's in the information i just missed it and honestly it doesn’t put me off as most if not all of your other socks are American made.
I’ll give a better review closer to winter as i’m sure they will preform very well.
