Midweight Day Hiker Crew Socks

I got my first pair of these in 2014 while I was deployed with the US Army doing operations in the mountains of Afghanistan, and I still wear these socks regularly. I live in Utah and serve in the National Guard; these have done great for my leisure hiking/backpacking all over the Uintas and Wasatch mountain ranges in addition to military training. They still work great and have done an outstanding job in colder weather, they also work great in warm months too. Whether I'm out for a hike or going skiing they've been just what I needed. I finally wore out a pair of these socks this year in 2021. I have no way of knowing which pair it was but I last bought a new pair in 2016. They got a lot of hard miles before finally wearing out. I'm writing this review just as I'm about to buy a bunch more so I need not buy any others for a few years.

These Are My Favorite Socks Of All Time. They Keep My Feet Nice And Warm And Look Great Too! Love To Wear Them Every Day In The Fall And Winter.

I absolutely love these socks, it's chilly in the NW I wear them almost year round. My feet never feel sweaty.

These are good quality socks. They feel very soft after a few washings. My only complaint is that they run large and are too loose after these washings. I have size 10 1/2 feet and normally order large socks as I did with these. I wish I had ordered a size smaller. Hopefully, they will shrink a little after a few more washings.

I bought 5 pairs of socks 3 years ago and I am still wearing them although a little thread bare in spots. Due to this I bought 5 more pairs and plan on using Minus 33 socks until I die. I was buying locally and the socks were wearing out in less than a year. I went back to a backpacking store and checked into a big name brand sock that I wore in the 1990s. I noticed the wool content was significantly lower than I remember and I am a firm believer that the more wool the better! Minus 33, please keep providing your quality products and customer service!
