Fit FAQs

What if I am between sizes?

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up or down based on what fit type you would prefer, and based on how you plan to wear the piece. Our knitted merino is stretchy and you could realistically go with either size. If you would prefer an Athletic fit, size down. If you prefer a Regular or Relaxed fit, size up.

Do I need to size up/down to layer?

Generally, no, you do not need to purchase a different size than normal. Our base layers are designed to fit right into your current layering system. They are also designed to work with other products in our line, too. You may wish to adjust your sizing if you plan to wear one of our garments in a way that it is not intended, if that's the case please feel free to contact our customer service team for help.

Does your clothing run true to size?

Yes, our clothing runs true to size and is sized similar to most other American brands. If a sizing discrepancy is discovered, you will see fit advice in that product's specific listing.

Love

I do have to agree that it is much shorter than pictured. Yes, before washing. NOT that it's not the same product.. but that it would be good to practice caution with photos because everyone's body is different. I might be a little too long, lol! Or I pull it up too high, cause it seems to have some room left in the 'bum.' (A good thing) Wearing it in Alaskan weather. Just a casual -10°F fall night in early November 😂 feels great! I don't feel the cold on my legs, especially with no wind. I'll use my full-weights (I forget the name?) if it gets worse, windy, or actively snowy.. Withstands a whole lot of laundry! Especially with a bunch of denim in the load 😅 Now THESE are base layers ❤️

Love merino wool!

Have had good luck with merino wool leggings under my riding britches. Bought these to go under ski pants. Great fit, warm for sure and super soft!

Hi there! Thanks for leaving a review for our Midweight - Women's 3/4 Bottom Woolverino. We're so glad to hear that you love merino wool and that it's been working well for you under your riding britches. We hope these leggings will keep you warm and cozy on the slopes as well. Thanks for choosing our product and happy skiing!

MUCH shorter than pictured.

Soft, warm, stretchy. I'd love them if they actually hit mid-calf as pictured. I'm wicked short (4'9"!!!), and these hit me just below the knee, bunching up behind the knee with any movement. I can't stand to wear them because of that, so they are a total waste.

Love the product line, but the dimensions of this garment are just off. You'd be better off purchasing the full length and hemming as desired.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our Midweight - Women's 3/4 Bottom Woolverino. We apologize that the length did not meet your expectations and caused discomfort. We understand how important it is to have a proper fit. We will definitely take note of this for future improvements. Thank you for your support and we hope to have the chance to provide you with a better experience in the future.
