Midweight 245 Women's Merino Turtleneck 100% Merino Wool

This is a great base layer, but also looks good on its own tucked in. I am 5'10", 155 lbs, 34D and ordered a medium. I probably could have ordered a small because it is a little baggier than I wanted it to be, but was worried it would shrink. I have washed it a handful of times and it has not shrunk. It feels soft and light, but provides good warmth. I wish it was made in the USA, but it is made in China.

This my favorite sweater!! Soft warm easy care. Wish it came in more colors!!! Navy, white, brown … I would buy them all.

Very nice fabric, smooth, not itchy at all (unlike some other merino wool shirts). True to size. Can be worn for dressier occasions, not just outdoor activities.

I asked for a second one of these because I like the first so much. I like the neck which is between a mock and a traditional turtle. It reaches my chin but doesn’t require folding or feel constraining. Hindus: it doesn’t require washing after every wearing.

Love, love, love your products. Material and craftsmanship are excellent. I've done multiple kayaking trips around Lake Superior, backpacking trips, hiking in Iceland, where your products are my go to layers. Just wish you would make your women's sized for people shorter than 5'9. At 5''4, everything is way too long! Recent purchases of your Turtleneck and expedition weight vest (which is an amazing layer) seem to be even longer. Great company, love your products, just wish you would make a bit shorter size for women.

It was so lovely up until I had lost it! I'm not sure where it went, probably left in the move. These are so fashionable especially for needing to layer up.

I love this for layering over a lightweight wool cami and wearing it around town or 2-3 mile hikes in the woods or even just in my home. I can wear it 4 or 5 times before it needs to be washed.

I noticed some reviewers don’t like the neck; I wouldn’t call this a turtleneck, but I dislike anything that feels tight around my neck and this doesn’t. On me it is slightly loose and more of a mock neck, which makes me happy.

I absolutely love this shirt as with all my minus 33 pieces. It is the perfect weight for me for at least three seasons. It is infinitely layer able. Hand washable, it holds its shape and is great for travel.

What I really appreciate with this company is the customer service people. I have talked to them directly about sizing and styles. One particularly difficult situation was handled quickly with a replacement piece.

From socks to leggings to T-shirts to turtlenecks, vests, and jackets, I wear a piece of this clothing every day.

I like the weight and fit of this turtleneck, but the neck of the top is too loose, so it sags down into an unattractive shape, so it's neither a "turtleneck" nor a "mock neck", just a shapeless blob of fabric that doesn't stay in one place. Disappointed.

This was my first purchase from Minus 33. I love the warmth that this turtleneck gives me as an underlayer! The fabric has a nice weight to it, is very opaque, and stretchy enough to pull over my head without messing up a bun. My only surprise with this shirt was that the neck is only a couple of inches tall - more like a mock-neck than what I was expecting. I think the model in the photo has the neck of the shirt unfolded. And, hey - I bet if you guys ever offer this in a tall size (with extra length in the sleeves), you'll get even more buyers!

I am very pleased with the fit the softness the stretch and the seams. What I won’t know for awhile is if it pills. I have had one black turtleneck in 30 years that has fit the bill entirely. I hope yours will be the next an not the last!! Thanks

I thank you for providing larger sizes for those of us “outdoor women” that are on that end of the size range.
The fabric is comfortable and what I love most is that the turtleneck is not binding at the neck.

I was looking far and wide for some baselayers that fit, and more importantly, weren't just synthetic blend. I was so excited when I found that the perfect ones were from a brand right in my home state of New Hampshire! The merino wool is so soft and the fabric weight was perfect to keep me warm but not make me sweat while skiing in freezing temps on Gunstock Mountain last week. The turtleneck makes it easy to layer into my ski gear without running the risk of gapping at the neck. And most importantly: The sleeves are long enough! I am nearly 6ft and most long-sleeved clothing doesn't even cover my wrists but the sleeves on this shirt are the perfect length. I can't overstate how much I love these baselayers!

I was so looking forward to wearing this turtleneck, but I have to send it back. I got an x-small, and it's just too big in areas where big is not good -- through shoulders and bust. Too bad. I ordered a vest from minus33, and that is fine.
Any plans to make an 2x-small?

I got this for my wife for Christmas. She had been looking for a merino turtleneck but couldn't find one. She was absolutely thrilled when she got it. She says it's incredibly comfortable and warm (we live in Alaska) and she wears it constantly.

I work in a cold room and often have to keep my coat on. With this shirt under a flannel or cardigan, I am comfy and toasty. No more cotton shirts for me. Thanks

This is the best turtleneck ever! I'm so glad it does not have a zipper. It's not too clingy against the neck. It can be worn full height or when rolled/folded down it sits lower similar to a typical mock neck. I love the versatility and it looks great with sweaters, too.

It's hard to find merino wool turtlenecks that don't have a front zipper, so I'm glad to know about yours. The fabric has a good weight to it, and is very soft. I only wish the turtleneck was a little higher.

Comfortable, versatile and perfect weight. It fits and looks nice enough that I can wear across a variety of situations from hiking to work. Hoping for more colors!
