The shirt is great!

The shirt is exactly what I need: a midweight for hiking and birding.

I was unsure of the size so ordered two different sizes. The return process was easy.

This a very comfortable soft shirt perfect as a layer for winter or the shoulder seasons as a main shirt. Unlike the short sleeve version it is 100% wool. My partner liked it too, so much that she took it with her and I had to order a second!
For improvements it would be great if there were other colors and the sleeves fit well on the shoulder but go down past the wrist. That's nice for winter to keep the hands warm but looks bunched up at other times.

This is a really fine shirt, with soft and warm knit wool fabric and nice detailing. But there is one rather serious issue--the sleeves are enormously long and wide at the cuff. The size chart says sleeve length on a medium is 32-33". These sleeves measured 38.75 inches. I paid a seamstress to shorten the sleeves so it's wearable, but needing to move the cuff buttons means the cuffs are still rather badly twisted. It's a shame the shirt was designed like this because it fits nicely in the chest and the length. I will keep the shirt, but would not order one in another color, if offered, without knowing this issue is addressed. If you're very tall and thin, it might work well for you. Otherwise, be aware that the sleeves are excessively long. If you look closely at the photo, this is visible.

This mid weight button up merino shirt is pretty perfect. I wanted a classy black button up collar wool shirt for my upcoming trip to Paris in March where it will still be chilly. I needed a stylish and warm urban sophisticated shirt and this is it!

A recent fall weekend trip to Chicago started an idea to find a wool shirt that is good looking and comfortable. I wear a 16 1/2” x 34” shirt and the L size is nearly ideal. The sleeves were almost 3” too long. So much that I had a tailor alter them for another $2:-( This shirt lacks structure, that is, it hangs like a t-shirt. So, it’s informal rather than “business attire.” The material is lovely - and soft. Delightful that it can be washed. And, I have not noticed any shrinking. Thank you, Minus 33, for the medium weight and all-merino. At the same time, I purchased a similar SmrtWl shirt and it is a light weight and significant % synthetic. I much prefer this M-33.

When I saw this new product I wanted to try it out. Man, I was not disappointed at all. It's very soft, stylish, and pretty warm as well just worn alone or as layer under a jacket. I've been very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

This shirt can be worn either casually with jeans, slacks, or athleisure joggers. It can be equally paired with a blazer or sport coat for a business casual or smart casual look. It looks great untucked but could be tucked appropriately. Regardless of the style it’s incredibly soft and comfortable. I’m 5’9”, weigh 165, 38” chest and 33.5” natural waist line. I bought a medium and couldn’t be happier with the fit. Minus33, if you’re reading this, please make this shirt in additional colors.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband.We already love the feel of the fabric from Minus 33, and the simple laundry care. This, being shaped like a dress shirt, can be worn to look dressed up, but if he needs to walk in the woods, he knows he has an automatic base layer!
If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to have it sized like a dress shirt, with neck and sleeve length.
In any case, a great product. I look forward to it being made in grey!
