5'10 140. finicky about fit and don't like tight necks so wanted vneck that isn't too small. but also not too low. originally ordered a small, but it was a little tight. was worried the medium would be too bulky/broad but it was perfect. neck great, body great. and the fact that it doesn't have that bottom clingy part is fantastic. hoping they have a sale soon so can get the blue one.

This Merino wool sweater quickly became one of my favorites. The pullover style is easy to throw on for work or a walk outside, and it’s comfortable without being heavy. The Merino wool keeps me warm in cold weather but never feels too hot indoors. I also like that this sweater doesn’t hold onto odors and still looks good after several washes. It’s a great everyday pullover and definitely the most versatile Merino wool sweater I own.
Packaging and quality is amazing!

This merino wool long sleeve shirt is really well made and very comfortable. It's much softer and thicker than I was expecting too. It has a nice stretch to it and the length is great for tall people. This is a mid layer shirt but I like wearing it as a pajama top since I get cold easy and it keeps me really warm. Really nice mid layer shirt.
This product is very well made. There were no wonky stitches and just looks and feels well crafted. This was advertised as an "undershirt" but this is made of lightweight wool and looks great as an actual sweater. I can see it as a good undershirt since it's not bulky and warm enough without getting you too warm. This is my second shirt from this company since I liked the 3 button henley a lot.
This wool shirt is very soft and comfortable. I got this for my nephew who's very tall 6'3 and skinny and the size small fits him well. The sleeves are long enough and the torso is nicely fitted. If you're tall and skinny the size small fits great.
This is a 100 percent merino wool long sleeve shirt/lightweight sweater that is extremely soft. I've tried many merino wool shirts and this is much softer than other shirts I've tried. It's a little thicker than a baseline shirt and slightly thinner than most sweaters. The men's extra large is a little larger and longer than other xlarge men sizes I've seen. It's also a V neck style, which may be preferable or not depending on your style. So far I've washed it a couple of times and the quality is still good. I'll update this review later if the quality changes over time, but as of right now it seems pretty good.
This is a classic merino wool men's V-neck sweater. Important to note that it is lightweight and exceptionally soft. The stitching seems to be high quality. This is true to size. The sweater looks good and fits well. Very comfortable. The shirt is not too warm, so I stopped wearing it as a top in December when the temperature went down to 60 degrees F. Minus33 V-neck shirt is fashionable. Most importantly it's a base layer shirt. It is meant to be worn under something else for added warmth.
This is a very nice long sleeve shirt and great value. I ordered this as I'm a huge fan of long sleeves in the wintertime but usually have the problem of the sleeves shrinking and they end up looking a little shorter. First and foremost I was pleasantly surprised because when it ran through the washer a couple of times it didn't shrink. The shirt has almost a sport feel to it despite being made of wool. It provides UV protection, insulation when wet and even moisture wicking which is great for when you are sweating under layers and layers of clothes on a snowy day I especially like the fact that it is made from renewable resources which means when this comes to the end of its life I won't feel guilty about just tossing it. It feels great and has a high quality texture to it. I love it and plan to get a few more away.
I've never had a merino wool garment so I was surprised at how comfortable this shirt is. It's so fine and breathable it doesn't feel like traditional wool at all.Fit is excellent. I'm 6', 180lbs and the L was perfect for me. It does have a "slim fit" feel to it, even in the sleeves, so don't expect a baggy sweater type of situation. p.s. the smudges in the pic are on the mirror, not on the shirt.I'm not 100% sure how to care for it, but according to Google you can machine wash on gentle. Seems like the manufacturer should tell you how to care for it, since it is wool, but I can't find anything on the shirt or the little promo tag attached to it.In any case, you can buy this for yourself or for anyone who like the finer things, and I think they'll be pleased.
Nice men’s long sleeved sweater/shirt.Fits my husband well and I love it too - a long loose long sleeved to wear with leggings. I would say this could be unisex. As for if this is wool- I’m not actually sure! I do think it’s a low percentage of actual wool. It is comfy and light. Overall it’s above average nice.
Really love this wool base layer top. It is super soft and very warm. Also breathes really well. Wore it today in mildly cold 40F weather under a shell jacket and was very warm. I like that it fits snug and has a V-Neck. You can wear it under a shirt and it hides or you can wear it alone as a shirt and it is stylish. I like clothing that is multipurpose like this.I am 6’1 and 220lbs and the large fits me perfect. It seems to be sized exactly right. The price is a bit steep but it is Merino wool and you pay a little more compared to polyester or cotton. I will be getting more of these!

I ordered this a while ago but finally got a chance to test it out this winter. It is fantastic. I wore it over a t-shirt as a baselayer and it kept me warm enough at 10k feet with a shell jacket over it. When I had another layer on top I was even more comfortable when it was colder, but this thing really was great. When it got warmer out, I took that layer off and was still plenty warm. Would highly recommend for skiing/snowboarding as a nice, thin, warm base layer.
Loved it but returned it, definitely ran small. So if you like it tight go for it but keep in mind they do run small. I didn't think it shrank in the wash and dryer though.
I ordered the men’s v neck (green) for myself (female) to have in my backpack as an all purpose sweater to throw on over other layers for a trip to Scotland. This sweater was perfect! Warm, cozy, and a nice green color.

Sizing:Slightly slim fitting, but the sizing chart is accurate. All Minus33 shirts have moderately compressive stretch to them so they're forgiving on sizing. So, if you don't mind a slim fit, just follow the chart. If you want a baggy fit, move up one size.Wool quality:You're getting 100% wool with this shirt, and it's excellent quality wool.Best for:This is a base layer, but it can be worn as a casual shirt. I've also worn this over a button up shirt and tie, and it looked really nice.Bottom line:I've reviewed just about everything Minus33 makes, and I've yet to be disappointed. The company is very consistent in the quality of their products.5 stars
This shirt is very basic, solid black and a good under layer to help keep you warm on a colder day. It can be worn by itself as it's solid black and goes with pretty much anything. The material is 100% wool comfortable to wear. I like the v-neck as its different from my others shirts that are crew cut.
It was nice to see a v-neck in with all the other styles, most other “Merino” brands don’t offer a v-neck option.
This one is nice, it does feel mid-weight, just for comparison I’m 5’10”, 155lbs. and I purchased size large. Measurements laid flat : P2P - 21”, back collar to waist 29”, top of shoulder to cuff 28”. The fit was spot on with room enough for a thin tee underneath. Just wish more colors were available…
R.B.S,
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the fit of your Minus33 V-Neck. We apologize that we don't have more colors available at the moment, we recently added this item to our collection. However, we hope to add a variety of colors in the future!

This is absolutely gorgeous and VERY well made. The soft wool gives a standard style shirt a luxurious feel and look. I loved it so much for my son that I got myself one, they have one for men and one for women. I love this shirt, fits as expected and incredibly well made
I chose this for my son. It's super soft and doesn't make him itch. Great layering piece for extra cold days.
If you're considering this sweater, you probably already know about the great qualities of Merino wool. From my experience with a few pieces of clothing now it's very efficiently warm with a minimum of weight. It's also quite effective in terms of being a wicking type fabric that doesn't absorb moisture or even odor. So you can reliably layer up with this sweater and count on being warm and not have to worry about needing to wash the sweater very often. I've found that I can just hang up the sweater after wearing it and let it breathe a while and it seems odor free and fresh. It's also comfortable and not itchy. I prefer to wear it over a thin fabric undershirt and sometimes under something else if it's cold enough to need that. But if you look at products online, you'll find items labeled as Merino wool that have a pretty small percent content of it. This sweater is all wool and way better than those blends. It's not inexpensive, but it's high quality and made by a known brand name. I'm enjoying this sweater and enthusiastically endorse it with a five star rating.
I love merino wool clothing, especially from this brand. This mid layer shirt is no exception and it delivers great quality and performance. In terms of sizing, it runs TTS. I ordered my usual size and achieved a fit like that seen on the model - relaxed fit. This is a great mid layer shirt, its just a tad thicker/denser than the brand's base layer styles. It can be worn alone or layered with a base layer for cold environments.I like wearing this shirt whenever I'm working in sub freezing temperatures because it layers so easily and provides perfect temperature control for me without making me hot or sweaty. The merino wool is soft, with a decent amount of stretch/give to it as well. This makes it really well suited for athletic activities or anything else where preserving full range of motion is absolutely vital.Like all merino wool, its neither scratchy nor difficult to care for. I just toss the shirt in with my regular wash and dry cycles and it comes out looking like new. No pilling, stretching, or loose threads.Seriously, the quality and performance can't be beat!
I got this for my husband, who was honestly a bit dubious about a long sleeved shirt made of wool as an underlayer (he'd lived through too many scratchy wool clothing items as a kid). I gave it to him for Christmas, and he couldn't believe that it was wool. It's soft, stretchy, and a great first layer. Thin and lightweight--it is, afterall, a baselayer--but it is still warm. He was pretty happy with it, and I was pretty impressed too--I'd never bought anything from this company before, but the price was decent, and I'm glad I did. If all their products are of this quality, they are definitely doing something right. I will likely buy more products from this company--I'm impressed!A note on size: I got my husband a medium though I suspected he could wear a small. He weighs 135. A small would have been more form-fitting, which some may prefer for an underlayer, but it's just a bit loose on him, and he prefers that.
