Runs extremely small, ordered a large but it fits like a tight medium everywhere that matters, and I can't even explain why it would be this bad because the microweight 145 briefs in large are perfect.

Bought these for wool qualities, particularly the claimed lack of odor. Have only had a week but put them to the test. I wear natural fabric briefs only once and wash due to odor. I just wore these for a full workweek and only now are they exhibiting faint smells. So it’s true. The fit has been perfect so now I only have to see how long they last…

Unrivaled in undergarments. These will keep you warm, cool, dry, and comfortable in both hot and cold weather. I wear these for cross country biking. I have biked 1755 miles this year with over 60,000 ft in elevation gain and I only wear Minus 33 Merino boxers. The best base layer for 100+ kilometer rides.

Thought long and hard about buying these wool underwear. I have tops and love them so I bought two pair of bottoms and they are very cool in 90 plus heat very comfortable, no bunching or climbing or sticking. Don't wait any longer to buy your self a pair or two. I will be adding more in the future. The waistband is soft.

Bought them for bikepacking

These briefs were a perfect base layer for a road race on a hot day. Super soft and comfortable. Excellent moisture wicking and zero chafing. This is the best of all the wool brands I've tried over 20+ years.

Great product but they are a bit too long. I want lightweight wool to wear in summer. The waist is just right but if I pull them up to be snug they go ever my belly button and are still not far above my knees. I roll the waist band down a few times so it’s actually around my waist

I bought these for my husband as a gift as he is trying to slowly shift over to clothes made of natural fibers. He loves them so far. Says the fit is great and doesn’t make him feel too hot or sweaty. He is very active so we’ll see about wear and tear as time goes on.

Bought these for my husband who was constantly searching for boxer briefs that didn’t ride up and he loves these! He wears them in the office, hiking, and hunting and always chooses these over everything else in his underwear drawer. These wash well and keep their shape. Will be buying more!

I have been wearing underwear for a long time. Trust me. These are the best underwear I have ever owned. If I could afford it, I'd replace ALL my existing underwear with the micro weight wool boxers.

Love the fit and the length, especially in the winter months. Like other wool products, they don't stink when out in the field for days on end and can be cleaned and dried relatively quickly.

That said, my oldest pair are almost 2 years old and have worn completely through along the bottom seam. I thought the fabric blend would make them last longer. I don't think anybody has figured out how to make wool underwear that lasts, which is a bit disappointing for the price, but not unique to Minus33.

I live in Minnesota, winters are cold and long. Summers are hot and moist. Since I discovered these boxer briefs a few years ago, they have been my GO TO undergarments for all seasons. I have tried other merino underwear (Icebreaker, Duckworth, Smartwool) and these are by far the most durable and comfortable. 5 stars all day long.

I just got these in and they are just as soft as the 100% wool but more roomy. I'm a fan!

I gave these boxers a three star review, because of the fit. However, take it with a grain of salt, as I’m a weird body type. I’m a bit on the short and stout side, so it’s very rare that anything fits me properly. I followed the sizing chart on the site, but found them high very high waisted and saggy around the butt area, which would likely cause chafing during a long run or multi-day backpacking trip. I got them because I read a review that said they helped prevent thigh chafing (the short/squat man’s nemesis). This part held true. Though I had some annoying fabric bunching up around my butt, the leg portion stayed in place and kept my thighs from chafing.
Since they are underwear, and I assumed not returnable, I treated them pretty rough, right out of the box. I washed and dried them on high heat several times and they didn’t shrink or fall apart. I wore them for multiple days for hikes and runs and they held up just fine. My wife didn’t complain about my funk, so the merino wool anti microbial quality is pretty good too.

Overall, they’re a decent product, just be sure about your body type. I also have a lot of other Minus 33 products that have lasted for years and they’re really good products. It was just a bit of a bummer to spend 4 times more cash than I have ever spent on underwear to find that I can’t really wear it.

I bought two pair for September elk hunting when it's hot. All the great merino-isms (don't smell, comfy, etc) but have been more resilient than standard merino boxers regarding wear and tear.
