I have to wear steel toed boots for work. After 4 hours, my feet get swampy with perspiration. Not so much anymore with these socks. They breath nicely even when boots are on. Glad I bought 3 pairs.

I have worn these socks for a few days now. I am pleased with them. They are very warm, soft, and flexible. They don't stink, they're still comfortable to wear after getting wet, and they dry quickly--if you turn them inside out. Can't speak to durability yet, but it is a thick, sturdy sock, so I'm sure it'll do well.

Pure perfection
The thickness of these socks provided much more cushioning and warmth than other wool socks that i have used over the years. Despite the thickness, the fit in my nordic ski boots was excellent and felt great well below 0F. The socks performed well on long snowshoe hikes where my hiking boots were wet. the socks retained the warmth despite being wet.
I have purchased many socks over my 72 years but most of the "winter" socks I have gotten have been somewhat of a disappointment to me and mostly because of not being well made and not lasting that long. I found out about minus33 from a review of another brand while researching for a winter coat. Well after looking at the their site and looking at different products I called them and it was a pleasure to talk with a real friendly and knowledgeable person that answered all of my questions very well. So I then ordered some of their workhorse crew socks as well as some other items. After receiving them and wearing them for some time, I went online and ordered another dozen of the same socks. They are very comfortable and warm and I wear them with anything, shoes, boots and slippers and sometimes don't even wear slippers but do most of the time because I don't want to wear out the bottoms of them. I would highly recommend them to anyone that appreciates quality.

These are nice but I don't think they're the same as the midweight workhorse crew sock I bought a year ago. They don't seem as thick and the material seems different. They're also taller/longer than the crew socks I had previously bought. I think these are suppose to be the same as the other ones I bought previously but I can't find my receipt or anything. I liked the ones I bought before a lot they were thick and cushiony. These ones are not like that.
