Heavyweight 400 Men's Brushed Wool Hoodie Kodiak Fleece

This is the thickest warmest merino hoodie on the market. I am a huge fan of a couple other brands that might be a touch more stylish, but nowhere near as cosy. Have purchased two for my husband and on my way to getting him a third and myself one too. He is 5’11”, 275 bought xxl.

My husband loves this brand and they hold up for a long time!

Excellent wool quality for the price. I only wish the neck were longer so it could fully cover the neck and allow the face to be tucked in.
Once the neck is long enough, it would become the ultimate hoodie.

It’s pretty great. Fits well. Keeps me warm and dry in appropriate conditions.

This hoodie is extremely warm. I have been on several winter hiking trips with it acting as my outer layer. It’s very warm and the endcuffs on the sleeves are fixed in a what where it does not fray like normal wool end seams. It is also very comfortable. It contours well to the body. I am looking forward to future adventures in this hoodie.

This is the first item from Minus 33 I am disappointed with and I own allot of their stuff. I washed it once, dried on low and I'm shocked at how wrinkly it got. The bonded fleece and wool wrinkled like crazy. I recommend NOT following the instructions and ONLY dry cleaning it. The whole thing looks like a wrinkled suit now especially along the seams. The fleece is no longer smooth either and kind of "pilly" or at least will [pill like crazy now. I'm going to replace it and try again because I love this hoodie fit and finish was initially impressive, but I will not laundering per the instructions ever.

I like the item for cold and snow, however it was not a good option in a severe downpour.

I was seeking a well-made merino wool hoodie for travel that would allow me to travel carry-on only. I just returned from a 12-day trip, and this hoodie kept me warm and did not need to be washed for the duration of the trip. It's soft, comfy, and well-built. It fits as expected.

I have a half dozen merino hoodies from various brands, the Minus 33 is one of my 2 favorites, the weight is substantial, the knot cuffs are a great feature, not shared by most merino hoodies. the design on my other favorite has changed from a regular hood to a snorkel, which makes Minus 33 my recommendation. The hood is spacious, not a snorkel hood, the only company I know of that hasn't moved to a snorkel

NOT the size that was advertised. Far too SMALL. Disappointing since it would have been nice.

Love this jacket, so comfortable to wear, layer up with it under my coat and it keeps me the perfect temp all while out in the cold. It's so comfortable and temp regulating that I tend to wear it inside often as well, it also avoids smell and is overall one of the best jackets I've ever purchased. Love the stretch, and love the thumb holes. This jacket is perfect, and their customer support is top notch as well, switched to a larger size and they made the replacement process as easy as possible. Love the gray color, looks great!

This was a gift. I was impressed with the quality. Very well made. Fits true to size and will be a nice warm layer this winter. Hood and pockets are great.

Nice warm and soft inner layer. Fits great except for hood tie. Needs an option to tie hood back farther so that the string doesn’t push glasses down hard on your nose such that snugging the hood hurts

I am on my second minus 33 expedition merino hoodie. The first having lasted four years and unfortunately lost in an apartment move.

This is truly the hoodie of M33 product line that converted me into the fold for awesome cold weather wool gear.
On my second expedition hoodie purchased in 2017 which was confined to my commute every day carry for several years in tropical weather. (for use in AC offices/buses)

Now back in the North East of America where winters are either frigid, to mildly temperate to dead frost drops in the same day or night. This hoodie is a life saver.
Length and hem are form fitting but generous in coverage.

the sweater *hood's build itself can be a main selling point as it conforms to the wearer's head shape, can be drawn up tight along the face and neck. Tying the drawstrings gives the hood a 'snorkel' effect like vintage parkas and provides the same quality warmth.
The front two pockets are deep enough to keep your hands warm.
But for carrying 'things,' just small stuff like a phone, keys.
The thumb holes on the sleeve are a good addition with rugged stitching.
weight is heavy, indicative of build quality and warmth.

I have gone weeks to close to months not washing the hoodie. Exposed to the elements, hardening from dust and soot. No problem.
After a gentle wash cycle and gentle dry methods, the wool retains it's surprising softness and is ready to go again.

not much else to feedback on but my hoodie is an older model, bereft of a breast pocket.
I can see myself buying two or three more of these hoodies. Please don't stop making them, especially with this kind of care and craftsmanship.

The temperature here has been in the high twenties and often windy with a wind chill in the teens and the product is definitely warm as advertised. Sizing can be a little tricky. I am 5' 9" and 150 pounds and the small just fits. Medium would be much too big. The little bit of elasticity mixed in with the wool gives you the ability to accommodate your body structure comfortably, but if I was heavier or much taller it could be a problem. My wife has the extra small, 5' 4" and 115 pounds, and it fits a little large but still warm.

Another quality product from minus 33! Well built sweatshirt that is warm and comfortable. Everything I expected and more, really like this piece.

The 33 Deg hoodie is my favorite jacket, keeping me warm from 30 degrees and keeping me cool up into the 70s. The wool is a great temperature mediator! The only thing it needs are more inside pockets.

Warmth, fit, and extremely functional. The pull string hood is the only way to go because I can secure the hood around my face. The fitted hoodies blow off my head on runs, bicycling, and in windy conditions. A 4 not a 5 because I have list gloves falling out from the non-zippered side pockets.

These hoodies are almost perfect, and I have been wearing mine daily. Being made of wool, and considering the price point, one would expect them to be durable, and I had dreams of eventually handing mine down to my kiddo. (I cherish some well loved old wool garments left by my dad.) Unfortunately, after a couple years, the elbows completely disintegrated. It would have been nice if Minus 33 had reinforced them a bit.

That said… I love my hoodie enough that I would by another one… even without elbow reinforcement. I am sad that I can’t because my size has been unavailable for months.

I love your products. By far the warmest clothing. I've had some durability issues with this hoodie. First one got a tear right above the pocket. Customer service was great and replaced it. I've had the second one about a year. The sleeves right near the thumb holes have all started to tear up. Normally I wouldn't complain but for $220 I was hoping to get more than a year of use out of it. I do intend on getting another one but I cannot afford to do it this year. Again I love your guys' stuff this is the only thing I've got from you that I've had issues with.
