Heavyweight 400 High-Rise Leggings 100% Merino Wool

I have leggings from different manufacturers, and these are my favorites. I wear them as leggings. They are a perfect weight for me. They are warm, comfortable in their fit and in the crotch, and are a perfect length. They do no sag after wearing. The price is best, too! I will buy more. I am 5’ 8 1/2” tall and @ 130#.

These were very high quality and warm. They ran a little large and had to exchange sizes.

Fit well, are very comfortable. My only problem would be, I like a bit of a higher waist, as these slip down a touch, when I bend. However, very warm, and like I said comfortable. I will buy from here again

I asked customer service about the rise measurements on these leggings before purchasing a size large and was told the front rise is 11 1/4" and the back rise is 14 1/4". The actual garment I received had a front rise of 12 3/4" and a back rise of 12 3/4". Needless to say, they do not fit and look ridiculous. They are also a tad small all around. The fabric seems thick and warm – I wish these had been wearable.

I bought these for my wife when we moved here to Maine in Dec. She loves them. They are nice and thick and warm. She is already buying more... :) Highly recommend these leggings.

In what world are these high rise. They come below the belly button and the inseam is SO short. I am astounded. I have already worn them so no chance of returning, but they do not stay up, honestly if you are going to make a legging like this just add a drawstring. Very disappointed.

Did a bunch of research before choosing these heavyweight expedition leggings amongst other brands and am very happy with my choice. I wanted a legging that gave a bit of sculpt. It doesn’t give much but enough that it looks quite nice, I love the high waist and the little waist pocket. I am 5’8” 130lbs and it isn’t all the way to my ankle but just above, took a size small.

I have several Minus 33 tops and bottoms in mid and heavyweight. First time trying the higher rise bottom and snugger fit. These are simply fantastic. As others note, I have also tried WoolX and found the bottoms were not as soft and did not stay up as well. These are a delight to slip into in the damp chill of a northern CA winter. Thanks Minus 33. And yeah, some more colors would be lovely.

These mediums are too snug and the wool is coarse. I will return them.

I am a truck driver and an outdoor enthusiast. Regardless of if I'm sitting in a warm truck or out, active in the cold. These thermals are warm & comfortable. I'd love to see more colors to match them to my dogs hair 😆
5'3, 115 lbs...small fits perfectly. Someone who likes a tight fit would likely do well with XS.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE LEGGINGS. I have almost every style legging from every wool company. Woolx once made a soft heavyweight that was my favorite, but alas they no longer do. These are as thick, but more smartly designed - fit better and stay up well because of high waist. Cross country skiied hard for an hour today and they were awesome. The heavyweight zip jacket is also fantastic. For the jacket, I had to switch size because the reviews said go up, but that didn't work for me. Super nice about the exchange - easy to get to a real person. Thank you Minus33. SO happy to have you as my new wool friend!

I ordered small at first since the small kenai I have fits great. I was looking forward to an actual high waist to cover my lower back. Unfortunately, this style turned out way too small.

My exchange experience with customer service was wonderful and I was then sent mediums. Medium is still almost too small for my thighs and calves--though the length fits right. I am 5'3" 145lbs.
Large petite might have been a better fit, but I don't feel like doing another exchange.

High quality fabric that is so thick and nice. I practically live in these for the whole Wisconsin winter. I'd love to see other colors.

My mom who is 5' 125lbs fits the medium also, but needs to take off 4 inches from the length.

Wishlist: Petite option, slightly higher waist, more colors like navy blue, forest green and burgundy.

The rest of the pants are fine, but the waist band is not a great design. The elastic is about 1/2 in thick and really concentrates pressure in a way a wider band would not. This is uncomfortable and different from other pants of this type.

These leggings are awesome! Definitely need to order another pair. I fluctuate between a size 4-6 depending on brand and day, and I went with the smalls - they are comfy and fit well. I probably could have also gone with the Medium as I have reaaally long legs but these fit super comfy. I've worn them out under waders fish, sitting in the boat, and skiing so far!

I just got my expedition weight leggings and I couldn't be happier. Comfortable and warm and oh so soft. These are by far out of all my different leggings my favorite. Worth every penny I paid. I woops just hope to have more colors like navy or sage green and some with pockets for phones on the sides of the leggings. You have a customer for life. Thank you.

I ride my Harley year 'round. In the winter I need something to help keep the legs warm. I knew about wool and after searching for what seemed like forever I found Minus33. I got my merino bottoms and now I can ride (and have ridden) in 23 degrees F with just those, my jeans and my chaps and could ride all day in that cold (remember, the wind chill factor makes it even colder and these *still* are all I need!).

My new girlfriend, who had never been on a bike in her life, was going to need something too now to keep warm. She *hated* the idea of 'wool', the itch and all the trouble with washing.

I told her not to worry, that she'd be fine with these Expedition Leggings. She was still skeptical, but Christmas was last month and Santa got them for her anyway, heh heh.

Once she tried them on there by the tree, that was all she wrote. She now wears those leggings every chance she gets! She's 65 and she gets cold *very* easily, but you couldn't pay her to give these back! She's still amazed that they don't have the normal itchy-like feeling of wool. She also loves how well they fit - just slightly snug but not loose, *and*, that she can wear these anywhere and no one thinks she's wearing thermal underwear, lol.

My woman is so very, very happy that I got these for her and that they make riding the bike in 55+ degree weather (again, the wind chill makes it quite a bit colder and that put these leggings to the test and let us find out what temps they worked in and what not - *for her*). She absolutely loves riding and hates it when she can't get on the bike with me, and these leggings have made it so she got another month or so to ride with me, plus now she can wear them in the house and to her PT and she's completely comfortable with them anywhere.

I can't wait to play Santa again next December so I can get her another pair. These are the *BEST* thermals for women (and of course the model I got for men for myself) that can be found for such a fantastic price, for such easy washing care and fit and use!

These pants are soft and fit true. I ordered a large since most things today are running small, but I should have ordered the medium. The price is too high, but the quality is nice.Just a note, these are wool, which is why I purchased them, but for others, there is no stretchy spandex to make you sweat but also makes them not hold close to you. So under a dress they look a little sloppy. I'm 5'5" and weigh 140, medium would be best.

For some reason I keep running into a similar situation with high rise wool leggings where the front is higher than the back and cuts into my stomach in an unflattering place. I also wish there was a short option for those of us under 5'4". Typically wear a size 8/M but often size up in compression type of leggings so they aren't crushing my internal organs. Sized up to a L in these and wish I had gone with a M but I do fear the elastic band at the top might be uncomfortably tight in a M. So close to hitting the mark but could use a few tweaks.

These leggings are the bees knees! I have a high waist and they fit perfectly. They are very warm and quite comfortable. I ended up ordering a second pair.

I am long waisted with an extra lumbar vertebrae and these stay up to my waist and don’t ride down. I am comfortable in them the whole time I’m wearing them. I have since ordered more pairs. It would be handy if they had thigh side pockets for my phone. Other than that, these are perfect! I am so grateful as I am cold natured and often wear multiple layers of merino wool. I will be ordering more.
