Perfect weight and the extra torso length and sleeves is great!
I have mixed feelings about this shirt. Originally I ordered medium and it fell big on me than I ordered small and it was tight around belly and when you raise your hands the shirt goes up and it stays like that leaving all this material around chest. I didn't like the way was fitting me.
I'm 5'10 and 160Lb and normally wear medium
nice quality and fit
Fit is true to size quality is A+!
perfect fit!
Great fit and feel. The weight is just what I was looking for as an everyday option.
This is the best lightweight wool base layer I have ever worn and I own a lot of wool base layers from other reputable companies as well. I own 3 of these and wear them every day of the winter. They fit perfectly, are extremely comfortable, very warm yet very breathable and never stink. The quality is second to none. I actually own several mid weight and heavy weight base layers from Minus33 also and love them just as much. I highly recommend any of them.
I've worn merino wool for many years. I get emails and offers from a lot of different companies. Hands down, "Minus33" is by far the best wool clothes I've ever worn. The quality and price cannot be beat. Minus33 is now the only merino wool clothes that I buy .
Great sweater, warm and comfortable!
I bought this for cycling during the cooler weather. It keeps me warm and dry under my outer riding shell.
I got this shirt to try for some cool weather running and I am very pleased with it. It's softer than I expected and the sleeves are long enough, unlike many other shirts. The material is not real thick, since this is the lightweight shirt, but it is surprising warm. Wearing this and a short sleeve t-shirt over it, I was sweating running in 50 degree weather. Merino wool definitely wicks the sweat away and keeps you comfortable and not clammy.
Very satisfied with the Crew. Fits my needs perfectly.

This merino top is the best quality merino base layer I've ever worn, having worn numerous brands over the last 20+ years. Compared to other lightweight merino offerings, it feels thicker and more robust which has its pros and cons. Overall, this is an excellent merino top that is now my most versatile base layer for hiking, trail running and skiing. Due to its versatility, I think this style could use more color options! Lastly, an even lighter weight offering might be appreciated by some/many.

Great fit, very comfortable. Can’t wait to use it in Wyoming hiking come this fall. Like the fact that wool wicks sweat so efficiently yet keeps you warm.

Besides simply being made in China I liked the comfort of the short-sleeved shirts so I bought these long-sleeves in same size M. The only problem the long-sleeved shirt brings is that these are supposed to be a men's shirt but the sleeves near the end are too narrow for men, it is too tight around the wrist and forearms though it is ok space around the upper arms. It feels more like a shirt designed for women.
Rickard,

I already have 2 of your light weight Merino Wool long sleeve crews I purchased from you many years ago, which I wear as a first layer daily for normal casual dress and outdoor activities such as hiking and outdoor wildlife photography, and fishing, and kayaking ,and yard work , or just as a single layer, in nearly every climate , for at least 3 seasons down South. Starting to wear after many years of use, so I purchased your latest version.
Just love the fit, the attractive style, the stretchiness, the breathability, and especially the long body and sleeve length of the Tall sizes.
Thanks for keeping the quality at such high standards.

My husband loves this shirt. It fits great, washes beautifully and dries quickly when hung to dry. Keeps him warm without feeling hot.
Leslie,
Great review! We're glad our shirt is providing such great comfort and durability for your husband. Thanks for taking the time to write this!

Great fabric, wool fabric is awesome, truly keeps you cool in heat and warm in cold. Looks great also. One word of advice is to order one size larger because it will shrink and if you have a slight belly it will be highlighted if the shirt shrinks too much.
Currently I am working to shrink my belly so the shirt I purchased fits better.
Richard,

Bought 3 long sleeve base layers. I work in the medical field so wear these under my scrubs in the operating room.have bought multiple brands in the past and am always looking for the perfect blend of comfort and durability . I love the feel of these shirts and they were amazing for the first several months. But then 2 of the 3 developed multiple holes. I sent them back and was quickly without question sent 2 replacements. They are a wonderful shi to wear. But I've only had them now for about 2 months so time will tell if the durability is any different. Unfortunately the third shirt from my original 3 has now also developed a hole. I might save these for a base layer while hiking or skiing, but it appears they are not suited for a daily wear shirt.
Very comfortable. As a hiker, it is warm but not clammy. Wool is just so much better than polyester.
James,

I'm 6'1" and the medium tall fits me great. I like the soft merino wool, although I admit after wearing it for 3 days straight, it felt A LITTLE irritating. But it's going to be my new baselayer for a long time.
Nicholas,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad you like the 100% Merino Wool Ticonderoga Men's Crew - Lightweight as much as we do!
