Waist: Measure the circumference around the natural waist, near the belly button.

Hip: Measure the circumference around the fullest part of your hips.

Shirt Length: This measurement refers to the approximate size of the shirt back length, from the neck to the bottom hem.

Inseam: Measure from the center of the crotch to the end of the ankle.

What if I am between sizes?

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up or down based on what fit type you would prefer, and based on how you plan to wear the piece. Our knitted merino is stretchy and you could realistically go with either size. If you would prefer an Athletic fit, size down. If you prefer a Regular or Relaxed fit, size up.

Do I need to size up/down to layer?

Generally, no, you do not need to purchase a different size than normal. Our base layers are designed to fit right into your current layering system. They are also designed to work with other products in our line, too. You may wish to adjust your sizing if you plan to wear one of our garments in a way that it is not intended, if that's the case please feel free to contact our customer service team for help.

Does your clothing run true to size?

Yes, our clothing runs true to size and is sized similar to most other American brands. If a sizing discrepancy is discovered, you will see fit advice in that product's specific listing.

Warm and solidly made. It is a little rougher than the shirt I got. It also fits tighter. Ultimately I kept it because it provides a lot of core warmth. Also, the green is pretty. If you’re looking for a summer weight shirt though, I would choose one of their other models.

I have the grey, it's a wear under anything layer in cold weather and a suitable tank top on its own in warm weather. The fit is very true to size and the cut is flattering. I need to wash it basically never and it's held up well for several years.

I purchased this, a short sleeve, and a long sleeve, for an upcoming trip.
It fits well and goes with everything. It's also soft, temperature regulating, and I don't have to wash it after each wear.

My very favorite tank. I wear it alone all summer, under other clothes the rest of the year. The straps are the perfect width, the body is fitted yet not tight. The grey is a perfect neutral yet I also wish it came in more colors!

First product purchased from Minus33. It's perfect to add another layer of warmth to my core underneath my winter sweaters. Also the fit is great. Much better for me than Smartwool products which are also more expensive. I liked the tank top so much I ordered a long sleeve v neck in the medium weight and I'm thrilled with it too. I just started getting into merino wool clothing. I love this tank top. It is extremely comfortable. It looks really good on me. I may have a minor sensitivity to wool. I did find it a little scratchy when I first put it on. The scratchy/itchy feeling went away after wearing it for a little bit. It seems to be more an issue with the light weight garments. But as I said it goes away shortly after wearing it so I don’t mind. I hope you get more in stock soon!

Lafayette's women's black tank top

I love this tank top because it is so soft comfortable and easy to launder. The bottom Hem of the tank top of stays on the body it doesn't ride up. I would definitely buy this tank top again although in a larger size for a bit looser fit.

My measurements are 39-34-42.
The fabric is really soft and surprisingly sturdy for being lightweight. According to the size chart I’m between L and XL so I went with the XL. The XL fits great everywhere except for the hips. It’s very, very snug at the hips. If a 2XL size was offered I fear it would be too large at the chest and shoulders. I’ve placed several orders here and I’ve noticed the clothes tend to be best for tall and skinny folks.

Perfect little tank

This is the perfect tank top for layering or wearing on its own. By itself, the underarms and neckline are not too deep, thus it can be worn with some modesty and utility rather than just a fashionable top you wouldn’t actually want to move around in. It is super soft and not itchy, however I do find it a bit warm for the 90 degree + temps we are getting in my home state these days. I think it will be a great base layer when the cooler months are here.
