Your merino wool base layers can help save a life!

In response to a surge of rescues across the country, Minus33 is asking for your help in supporting our nationwide network of first responder groups. We provide these kits free of charge to hundreds of SAR teams across the United States and Canada.

Minus33 recycles gently-worn returns and garments with minor defects into “SAR Warming Kits".
Each kit contains a top & bottom Merino wool base layer, a wool hat, wool socks, and wool gloves.
Essentially a head-to-toe outfit of warming-wool clothing to be applied to victims to prevent or delay hypothermia.

We now accept Merino wool base layers from any brand.

Donation Requirements

Donated items must be Merino wool base layers containing at least 50% wool.

All donations must be clean and freshly washed.

Donated items cannot contain large tears, burns, or significant damage.

Shipping & Processing

Free return shipping is available within the contiguous United States only (excluding AK & HI).

Please allow 3–4 weeks for shipping and processing (many are completed sooner). Transit time to New Hampshire may vary depending on your location.

Once we receive & approve your donation, we will email your 25% off code to the address you provided.
