Quality Without Compromise
The milestones that shaped who we are today.
A Mill Town Built on Wool
Wool manufacturing has been part of Ashland, New Hampshire since the 1840s. The Pemigewasset River powered the early mills that helped shape our town and its economy. Generations of families worked in those buildings, learning the craft of turning raw wool into fabric.
The mill we operate from today stands on that same foundation.
Supplying a Growing Nation
Through both World Wars, wool was essential. It kept soldiers warm and families clothed.
We expanded our operations to meet demand for wool garments, military uniforms, and household goods. Our location in Ashland, connected by rail and road, allowed us to efficiently distribute wool textiles across the country and beyond.
Wool was America’s performance fabric long before performance fabrics were a category.
Expansion
Growing demand led us to expand our product line to include socks, accessories, and blankets—all made with the same commitment to excellence.
Sustainability Focus
We doubled down on our environmental commitment, implementing new sustainable practices throughout our supply chain.
Looking Forward
Today, we continue to innovate and grow, always staying true to our core values of quality, comfort, and responsibility.
