Benefits of Merino Wool
Moisture Wicking
Merino wool is the best fiber to regulate moisture. It does this by absorbing sweat from your skin and releasing it into the air. Whether you're hiking, running, biking, on the job, or just relaxing at home, our wool helps keep you dry and comfortable all day long.
Soft & Comfortable
Merino wool fibers are much finer than traditional wool, creating a luxuriously soft feel that won’t itch or irritate your skin. Comfortable enough for everyday wear and gentle enough for sensitive skin, it’s a natural choice for underwear, base layers and next-to-skin comfort.
Highly Breathable
Merino wool’s unique structure allows air to circulate freely, helping to regulate your body temperature in both hot and cold weather conditions. Whether you're layering up for winter or staying cool in summer, Merino keeps you comfortable by letting your skin breathe.
Anti-Microbial
Merino wool naturally resists odor-causing bacteria, keeping you fresher for longer. No lingering smells, even after extended wear. Perfect for travel, outdoor adventures, and everyday life.
Insulates When Wet
Merino wool can hold up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy against the skin. Unlike cotton or synthetic fabrics, it keeps insulating when damp, making it a smart choice for unpredictable weather and high-output activity.
Fire Resistant
Merino wool is naturally fire-resistant and self-extinguishing. It will not melt or stick to your skin like synthetic fabrics. A trusted option for first responders, campfire safety, or any high-heat environment.
UV Protection
Our Merino wool clothing helps protect you from the sun’s harmful rays, with different levels of UPF based on fabric weight:
-
Microweight (145 GSM): UPF 20
-
Lightweight (170 GSM): UPF 25
-
Midweight (245 GSM): UPF 50+
-
Heavyweight (400 GSM): UPF 50+
These natural UV-blocking properties make Merino wool ideal for long days or the beach or above treeline.
Renewable & Sustainable
Merino wool is a natural, biodegradable fiber with a low environmental footprint. Grown by Australian Merino sheep and shorn seasonally, it is a renewable material that supports responsible farming practices.

Minus33 Gloves
Gave a 3 star because i bought them for next hunting season and have not tried them yet.
I did not purchase this product HOWEVER. I did just get off the phone with Steven, & what a helpful, kind, representative for this company!
With people like him working at this company their customer service is 10/10. I imagine their products must be as well. Its incredibly refreshing to speak to a person these days when trying to gather information at a business. He was phenomenal!

These are probably the best gloves I have ever owned! I live with snow and cold 6 months of the year (negative 20 to 30 the past few weeks). I took this opportunity to really test these leather/suede/wool gloves and they really performed well.I snow blow 3 or 4 times per week and that was where these gloves shine. I lose no feeling in my fingers from cold or tightening while I grip the handles of my blower. I love the length of the wrist cuffs as they easily fit over my coat sleeves for that extra protection from wind and snow. The cuff tighteners work really well - this seems like such a minor thing but when its cold and you are in a hurry, these small details make a huge difference. The leather provides for extra grip on the shovel, gas can, or anything I need to work with while staying warm. The suede thumb is awesome - its soft, pliable, and looks great. The gloves are flexible enough for virtually any activity. All of the stitching seems tight and the gloves overall are really well-made. The interior is incredible with the European wool. I left the gloves in the cold over night to test the feel when putting them on cold and it was ridiculous how good the gloves felt and how quickly they warmed to my hand temperature - not the other way around.I am very impressed and only hope these last a really long time.
These are very good winter gloves. They are comfortable to wear and are so so warm when you're outside. Today was 15 degrees and my hands stayed warm and toasty wearing these. Looks good. Has gater cuffs to keep out the wind and very well stitched leather pieces on the palms.
These are excellent gloves and are very well made. The wrist and top of the hand section is made from a waterproof material and go a nice distance up the arm. I appreciate the inclusion of an arm/wrist leash so the glove doesn't get lost. The palm, pointer and middle fingers are made of a nice leather. The thumb is black suede. The inside of the glove is lined with merino wool and a light but warm insulation. I'm very impressed with all the materials and attention to details of these gloves. The leather will wear well with use. These are pricey, quality cold winter gloves. Recommended.
My boyfriend recently found and bought a used motorcycle with very low miles. It's the motorcycle of his dreams and shared the news with his buddies. They have all talked for years about riding to the top of a mountain together, which is on their Bucket Lists. They will travel from different parts of the world to meet for this iconic road trip. He told me he needed some warm motorcycle gloves because it will get pretty cold riding up a mountain, depending on the weather that day. These Minus33 Merino Wool Leather ski Gloves will certainly keep his hands toasty warm. They are well-insulated with various layers and provide such information on the product page as well as package inserts. My boyfriend had insisted on gloves that had long cuffs to pull over his jacket sleeves and could also be cinched to keep the cold wind out. These Minus33 fit that requirement. They are designed and made by a USA based woolen company that sources the lavalan wool insulation "solely produced in Germany by Baur Vliesstoffe." These gloves are of exceptional quality, made with Merino wool to wick moisture and insulate when get wet. The "HDry technology gives you the highest level of waterproofness, breathability, and insulation." There are wrist bands and glove locks that help reduce the chance of losing a glove out in the weather. The product page says they are touchscreen compatible, but my boyfriend was unable to use his cell phone while wearing them.It would have been nice to see a Size Chart showing the width of a palm for size S-XL. My boyfriend's palm width is about 3 3/4" wide as seen from the odd angle of the photo from my cell phone. He can wear L and XL gloves, depending on how they are made. We guessed that with all of the layers, padding, and insulation, he needed XL. He had some doubts before removing the gloves from the package, but when he actually tried them on, he smiled. They weren't too snug and fit between his fingers perfectly. There was no extra bulk at the tip of his long middle finger, which usually occurs with many gloves. The only con we see is that these Minus33 gloves currently sell for an expensive $169.99, but that's the price you pay for great quality when you need them for important outings, like riding up a mountain.

Leather Ski Glove - Warm Breathable Winter Gloves for Snow Sports - Wool Insulation - Classic Snowboarding Gloves (X-Large, works well to keep my hands warm in the morning on my drive into work and the steering wheel is freezing . Comfortable and fit well
I am a skier who is used to smaller gloves that go to about the wrist. These gloves seem aimed at snowboarders, although they say they are good for skiers, too. I was skeptical of this - until I tried these.I love the extra coverage these have past the wrist that prevents moisture getting up sleeves, etc. I also like that there's a rubber wristband INSIDE each glove that prevents the glove from slipping off and being lost in a wipeout. The glove is tethered to your wrist inside the glove!I also like the fact that the fingers on these gloves are conductive - you can use a touch screen like on your cell phone with the gloves still on. Takes a bit of getting used to since the fingers are bulky, but it is nice that it WORKS.The gloves are warm, as expected from a product made this well. The various layers are sewn well without loose threads or bad seam work. These wouldn't have been my first choice for ski gloves because they look like snowboarder gloves, but now that I've tried them, I wouldn't have anything else.
Fantastic gloves. Best gloves I've owned. They were great all winter skiing a lot.On and off easily...the tightening and loosening the bungees at the wrists are quick and easy. They are super durable and comfortable. Genuine leather on the fingers, looks and feels very quality.Very warm and fit great.Highly recommend these!!
These ski gloves keep my hands warm during cold days on the slopes. The insulation is excellent, and the waterproof material keeps my hands dry even in wet conditions. The fit is comfortable, offering enough flexibility for handling gear, though they can feel a bit bulky. The wool-polyester lining is incredibly warm, and the palms are reinforced with soft leather, which is durable without stiffening in the cold. While the touchscreen feature doesn’t work well due to the glove’s thickness, the built-in leashes are a great touch for convenience when I need to remove them briefly.
These run a bit bigger than expected. So if you are in between sizes on the chart, probably better to go with size down. This was confirmed with the company CS over the winter that they also know that these glove sizes run large.American company, gloves made in SE Asia.Comfy and warm even on days in the teens F. The arm loops are really really helpful. I did notice that they wear down a bit with use so the leather looks a little like work gloves after awhile. I guess to be expected for leather.
I recently picked up these ski gloves, and they are fantastic! They keep my hands warm even in freezing temperatures, which is exactly what I need for long days on the slopes. The insulation is excellent, and the waterproof material keeps my hands dry in wet conditions. The fit is snug but comfortable, with enough flexibility for handling poles and gear. The only minor downside is that they’re a bit bulky, but the warmth they provide makes it worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay warm and dry while skiing!
They are really good comfortable gloves. Used them for snowboarding and used my hands quite a lot I had arcteryx gloves before which got shredded just from the snow but these gloves did not at all. They fit well with liners and kept my hands reasonably warm considering they’re gloves and not mittens.
These gloves are perfect for cold weather. They keep my hands warm, even in heavy snow, and the waterproof feature works great. The touch screen compatibility is really convenient, so I don’t have to take them off to use my phone. They fit well over my jacket, and the grip feels strong and durable.
Minus33 makes my favorite wool socks, so I was excited to see a pair of gloves made by them! The gloves are well-made and durable, and should live up to years of use. The palms are double lined in spots prone to wear, with soft leather that doesn’t turn stiff in the cold. The gloves are lined with 50% wool and 50% polyester, and very warm. There’s information on how to trace the wool, if desired. The long gauntlets keep cold air from sneaking under my coat sleeves. The top part of the gauntlet can be cinched tighter, but not the wrists. The wrists just have elastic. The touchscreen pads did not work for me, but the fingers are so thick, I can’t imagine trying to use my phone while wearing the gloves. It’s easier to take them off if I need to use my phone for a minute, and I don’t have to hold the gloves -- they have leashes so I can loop them around my wrist.
Thick gloves. Longer for better protection. Suede mix with fabric. Very warm. Fairly flexible not stiff. Great for cold days for working, playing or just out.
These winter gloves check every box for cold-weather adventures. With a waterproof and breathable design, they keep your hands warm and dry no matter the conditions. The genuine leather palm offers a strong, non-slip grip, while the wool-blend lining provides top-tier insulation. Thoughtful details like touchscreen compatibility, reinforced wear zones, and a secure cinch strap make them incredibly practical for skiing, snowboarding, and more. Built for durability and comfort, they’re the perfect companion for any snowy excursion. I use them for snowblowing in New Englasnd.
I measured my hands as the listing instructed and ordered the small size as instructed (and was actually between small and medium), but they're still way too big. I can only wear these if I know I'm not going to be doing anything with my hands at all, and I cannot use the touch screen capability since my fingers don't go to the end of the glove.I appreciate that they make an attempt to ethically source their wool. Overall the crafstmanship is excellent. They seem expensive.
I was skeptical of these for several reasons, but my concerns were immediately alleviated. They're INCREDIBLY comfortable, fit true to size, and surprisingly warm. I'm wearing these during a New England winter for about an hour every day while I am out in the field with the dogs, and they're excellent at keeping my hands comfortable, and preventing the cold draft from getting up my sleeves. So far they most defend against the cold, even if I've got a freezing bottle of beer in my hand, and maintain comfort and function throughout. Consider me a convert! These are excellent and more than adequate for my winter applications, including maintaining grip on dog leashes and walking sticks.
Leather ski gloves with wool insulation are rare to find. Durability remains to be seen, but the specs on these gloves are excellent!!
These gloves are warm and excel at blocking wind. These gloves seal your hands and arms from the cold and wind. The gloves are well-made and the seam stitching is even and professional. The gloves are an excellent addition to any outdoor winter sport or activity.I recommend these gloves.
My kids kept stealing my snow gloves leaving me with none. I got these as they were better than nothing but boy was I surprised. While they are expensive, they are high quality, a good size, and provide excellent protection. The sleeves/cuff of the glove is big and it goes 1/3 up my forearm which would keep out snow when skiing or snow boarding. I am very happy with them.
I'm a baby when it comes to cold weather. I hate my hands being cold and my skin getting dry and sore. Do I do any type of occupation or hobby that would require these? Not really. But I have worn these on particularly cold nights when I know I'm going to be outside for a while. Also, I keep these in the car for emergencies. If I were to get stranded in a winter storm or breakdown & need to change a tire or wait a long time to get help, I have a set of super warm gloves and an emergency jacket in my trunk at all times.
