I really love this too and I have also really come to like the Minus 33 brand, the pieces are all really well made and the fabrics are high quality. This is a very flattering top and I've even gotten to wear it a couple times this summer, I know I'll wear it a lot once the weather cools off. It's very lightweight and extra soft and comfortable. It has a good amount of stretch or else I probably couldn't fit into it. I usually wear large tops but all Minus 33 pieces I have run small so I went with XL and it's still very tight. I'd definitely recommend this, just pay close attention to size charts and definitely order up.

This is a very nice Merino wool hoody that helps keep you at a comfortable temperature in virtually any environment. The fabric is soft and feels very good against the skin. The hoody is lightweight and could be used as a base layer or on its own. It has a half zip so it's easy to pull on and take off even when it's wet. It also has a zip up breast pocket and thumb holes on the sleeves.Merino wool is a superior fabric for regulating body temperature. It keeps you warm when it's cool and it keeps you cool when it's hot. Wool is less likely to retain odors than other materials, so this is a very good travel hoody.This is a very high quality garment and you'll be amazed at how comfortable it is. This is a perfect item for athletes and travelers and would make a wonderful gift.

Took this 1/4 zip sun hoody to Italy. Works great, it’s very comfortable and look good. My only wish is that it came in brighter or jewel tone colors so I looked better in my pictures.

Perfect Lightweight Wool hoody. Bought for snow sports but got the microweight for all year long hiking and running. Love the thumbholes and the hood. Great fit, doesn't ride up.

I love this microweight hoodie! I wore it every single day this past summer while hiking the entire John Muir Trail in California, over 200 miles with a full pack. This is lightweight and breathable, unlike synthetic fabrics. I rinsed it out in a stream at the end of every day, and it was usually dry by morning to wear again. The long sleeves provided much-needed sun protection. My husband and brother hiked with me, and we all had the same hoodie.

I bought this for travel, and it worked well. It’s thin and light, so it doesn’t require much luggage space at all. But it’s a good extra layer, and very soft. I like the good UV protection without needing sunscreen on my arms. The big black zipper isn’t that attractive, in my opinion, but it’s there if you need it (I never used it).

I wore the pullover and the tank on a 20 mile hike where it rained 2/3 of the time. I wore a waterproof layer over these & wool blend undergarments. While I was sweating quite a bit, I never felt wet so for me, it worked well. I will say the items are on the thinner side and I was disappointed that they are made in China.

I was drooling over this hoodie at the Mt Washington bike race and was fortunate enough to win it! I LOVE it. I took it cycling with me in France and it was the perfect weight over my bike jersey for early mornings and late evenings. (I even sweat a bit in it chugging up some hills and it doesn’t even stink despite my bike jerseys being smelly). And it looks pretty enough to wear out and about. The wool is super soft and comfortable. My husband uses the socks for cycling and can wear them several days when traveling before needing a wash. I intend to get some more items from minus 33 soon and likely some Christmas gifts as well. I’ve been telling all my active friends about the company. Seriously love their clothing. Get it. You won’t regret it.

Bought this gift for my wife. She loves it. The weight is right for early fall in New England, but can be worn into the winter just as well. The color and styling was spot in and the easy care washability is key!

I bought this hoodie in spring of 2024 but waited some time to leave a review because I wanted to really test it out. This is a very versatile hoodie that is good for situations with varying temperatures - for example, if you are going to start hiking at low elevation and ascend to higher elevation, or begin hiking in the chilly early morning on a spring or fall day that will warm up. The hoodie provides some warmth but because it is so lightweight, I don't find myself overheating. For sun protection on a very hot day, this hoodie would probably not be my first choice as I find it warmer than certain synthetic tops marketed as sun hoodies. The quarter length zip is fabulous, especially as it is hard to find a very lightweight merino top with a quarter zip on the market. When you unzip it and fold the fabric back, however, there is a line of fabric that says MINUS33 that is exposed. I wish this weren't the case as having such overt branding makes it harder to use an item for casual wear. Also, I could live without the chest pocket as I always find chest pocket placement awkward for women's tops. The only thing I'm ever going to store in a chest pocket is a little bit of folded up tissue. The hoodie is not scratchy, and it runs true to size. I'm 5 ft 3, about 115-120 lbs, and the size small is perfect. In summary, this is a wonderful, very versatile hoodie, though probably not my first choice for an extremely hot day.

I just took this on a 10 day 122 mile mountain trek and it kept me comfortable in wind, rain and temps ranging from around 40F to 80F. It dries super fast, feels nice on your skin and never smells. I hand washed it twice in the 10 days I wore it but probably did need to. It also made an excellent base layer under rain gear and down puffed when needed.

Bought for my wife because she kept taking mine. This shirt is perfect for so many reasons. the fit is great ant it is mostly wool. I use it for everything. Bought it in two colors. I wear it nearly every cool mornig in montana then as a sunshirt when it wams up. Perfect!

My first use of this hoodie has been hiking while in the Pacific northwest. It has become a favorite item. It's not too warm, it breathes nicely, and protects from the sun. I am really happy with this addition to my active clothing wardrobe.

This is my second one. Glad Minus33 finally made it in something other than gray and black! I would buy more if they came in other colors! I mostly wear it running or hiking.

Wore this hoodie in 85 degree weather and it was very comfortable and lightweight. Great fit and flattering. I'm lean apple shaped, broad shoulders, 4'll, 113 lbs. I bought black, size S. Love it!!

This garment (I bought the light grey) is just what I needed for layer in all seasons. The light weight is great for a hike that starts out cold then warms leading to need to shed top layer. The breeze filters through the fibers which protect from the sun.
