From Mill to Main Street
Minus33 was recently featured on the front page of NH Business Review in an article titled “The Wonder of Wool.” The piece focused on the 110 year old business of L.W. Packard and its history within the state, including how the company is expanding into a new building along Main Street in Ashland NH.
Author John Koziol also touched on the Search and Rescue base layer donation program, partnership with the Mount Washington Observatory, the benefits of wearing merino wool, and our in-house manufacturing of all our socks using knitting machines imported from Italy.
Looking towards the future of the company, Minus33 President Lawson Glidden, said he hopes to double the number of employees in the next six years.
“I tell everybody that if you can find a better sock, call customer service and they’ll connect you to me,” said the younger Glidden, adding that, as of mid-June 2026, “I’m still waiting for that call.”
Thank you John Koziol and NH Business Review for telling our story.
