I've been really lucky to have three healthy boys that love enjoying the outdoors as much as I do . Some are more motivated than others but in this day and electronic age I'm glad they can unplug, get off the couch and see one of the most beautiful parts of our country, New Hampshire. We live in Merrimack NH and are right down the road from a great nature preserve called Horsehill . They have a great trail network and it's easy navigation for beginners like my little guys. When getting ready to get out on the trails I teach them how to layer and pick the right gear for the activity. My favorite and most versatile piece is the Minus 33 isolation 1/4 zip. It's so comfortable and is so well made, from the flat lock seams to the great zipper garage at the top of the collar . When you zip this piece up to warm up a bit you don't get any chaffing on our neck thanks to that well thought out piece of material.
